Millions of dogs, right now, are in need of forever homes. We ask that you make an informed decision before making this lifelong commitment. Many families purchase these animals, Dalmatians especially, not realizing they are high energy dogs who are predisposed to congenital ailments that require frequent, expensive veterinary care.

They require several walks a day, lots of activities and toys to keep them stimulated, and many Dalmatians are not good around small children—all reasons why so many of them are waiting to be adopted. If after careful consideration, your family is willing to make the lifetime commitment for a Dalmatian or any other kind of dog, please adopt from a breed rescue group or a shelter.

Every year, up to 6 million healthy, happy animals enter shelters, but most of them will be euthanized, simply because there aren’t enough good homes available. Spaying and neutering is the only way to prevent these deaths, but you can save a life and find your new family member and best friend at your local shelter.
